It's entirely possible to have a fun game without people who type in caps lock and think the most enjoyable thing in life is doing their best to aggravate other people for no reason.

If I wanted to piss people off I could just stand on top of the parking garage downtown with a bucket of water balloons. (The only difference is, that could get you either arrested or beat up, so you're probably too scared to do it.)

And, if you weren't aware, the average age of people playing videogames is no longer in the teens. It has migrated upward to the 20's and 30's, which is why you've seen an influx of more mature games lately.

Haha, whats everyones deal about the capped letters? How does caps lock effect you in any way then normal non-capped letters? It's bigger...whoa. And no the most enjoyable thing in life is not trying to aggravate other people for no reason. The most enjoyable thing in life it trying to aggravate people that are too uptight and serious about the game, like you.

not only that you say taht you also made a girl char because you get lucky with nerds giving you free shit? well just to let you knwo that begging is being just as immature as dancing for someone. personally your cases about wanting to be a girl is ridicolous, and makes absolutely no sense, it seems to me that you want to be a girl cuz u want to be treated better and want free stuff even though your complaining about how bad your being treated. very mature. i must say.

and just to let you know the guild wars community is MUCH better than most mmorpgs i've seen, and thats because of the guild wars team.

i just got done with WoW, and wow you have absolutely no idea how many retards there are in that game. go look at their forums, you would cry if you read even a little bit of it. WoW was rated the most immature community any game has ever released.

so dont even consider judging guild wars. and no matter what, guild wars WILL have somewhat of an immature community because of the fact that its a computer game, and the majority of people who play computer are games are kids. face the facts, if you want a mature community then go play online solitaire or something.
First of all I want to say somthing about my complaint. Not related to your quote. Not once did I mention age groups. There are people missing 25% of thier brain at ALL age levels. In response to your quote, yes I agree with you 100%. I am totally contradicting myself. I am using the advantage of playing a female character to get stuff ingame. But am I abusing it? No. I do not go around acting like a virtual prostitute. What self respecting guy won't do a double take at the model that just walked by? The point I am making is that if I were a woman, his comments would make me feel uncomfortable. If I asked the human resources lady to "dance" for me to get somthing done, I would have a lawsuit on my ass that would ruin my life. And no, I don't beg for shit. Never. What I am talking about is people passing off "gifts" to female players. No I haven't recieved any, nor do I seek them out. I play GuildWars for hardcore pvp. And no it's not about making myself feel better because I am treated better. That is just a side effect. I want to have EVERY SINGLE ADVANTAGE I can get. It's as damn simple as that bro. :-)

Only two days into the game:

First day, first 10 minutes ingame I see the word "penis" spammed in chat.

Yesterday, some dancing fool comes up to my character and tells me (not ask) to dance. I told him to strip down first. He did, all I told him was, "Good job" and walked off.

Within 5 minutes a necromancer comes up to my char and starts making death threats ("I'm going to kill you", "You are dead"). I responded, "Great! Let me know when it goes down so I can leave out cookies and milk!" He didn't speak to me after that...

Then I needed to go do the "Across the Wall" quest, so I was asking around and I get invited. I head out of the city and see the guy getting his res signet. Then he comes up to me and calls me "noob" and goes back to town to leave the group.

I tell ya, sometimes I can just wave them off with no problem, but there are some real jerks out there.

The letters all look too similar when caps lock is on. Personally, I find it hard to read.

On a slightly different subject... is Dust Finger your in-game character's name?

Naw. Nameless. I really didn't care for the EC tunnel for trading. I loved the trade zone. I never would have made money otherwise. Make a bunch of nightmare bows, go to bed, wake up with plenty o' cash.

Primary weapon is wit for you, isn't it. Ranger would be perfect for you.

Yeah?

I find that the head makes a nice squishy explosion, but if you hit them in the chest at the right angle you can actually get a little lift underneath and throw 'em out a little ways.

I guess it all depends on mood...

*looks at Ser's Primary Profession* oh, really?

I love the ranger, I always played one, except for whenever I played FFXI, I forgot why I didn't choose that job, but took on the Black Mage instead.

Explodies is fun.

I'll make a ranger to see if it's as good as it was when i thought shooting people was fun :P

Well this is great talk about stupid people i mean u come in here and talk about blowing someones head off ......... no wonder school violence is up..... =D
Anyhoo i think that the best solution to idiots in the game would be just ignore them and go about to doing what u need to be doing... if u retaliate in anyway then you just basically stoop to thier level.... i mean it is a game its not just idiots in the game thats the problem its also people who take the game too seriously... i mean i didn't see the box saying " NO GOOFING OFF IN THE GAME" or " INTENDED FOR ADULTS WHO TAKE THINGS TOO SERIOUSLY"... just a thought =D

I figured it would be more... uh... tactful, if I let someone else mention it first.

Hey... I'm family friendly! Really!

I mean, you know, unless you include the "shotgun to the chest" thing. But who's counting that, right?
